I get as a stan you want to like it
but has it come to this point that we have to force ourselves to use? I believe songs can grow but even Baby Mama was better than this single tbh quality wise. Get back with the veterans Pharrell, Timbaland, Darkchild..even if they are harsh and won't baby an artist the results will be so much better.

living in the past ??? I mean these are the producer that really push brandy so there legends in my eye sight.

All these years of people saying Rodney pushed Brandy, when she recently let it be known that she hardly ever sang in front of him. Lashawn is who pushed her.

Those big name producers were great, but they can be hit or miss too.

Brandy is 41. At this stage in her career, the goal should be to solidify her musical legacy outside of just her core fans. That's exactly what she seems to be doing. Chasing hits is for the younger and new girls. Verzuz proved that Brandy has enough of those already. Brandy has to be Brandy. Not some version of another popular artist.

I think he pissed her off several times during the recording process in the last four years (the unfollowing and refollowing) but she kept coming back to him for some reason, likely budgetary. He gives a cheap mess and a lot of new and/or unsigned artists go to him for beats.

She can stick with him but I don't think he really knows what he's doing tbh. She said he sat with these songs forever trying to come up with a sound for them. His scope is pretty limited imo. But I know some of y'all stan his production (for some reason that's beyond me, lol) so no offense meant to those who do. I just think he could really step it up, and Brandy deserves that much at least.

That's not saying much- she's only had 2 other albums in that time frame. And yes, we will deal bc he's here but that doesn't mean he's good. Pamper gives mediocre teas and as a newly independent artist I can see why Bran went with him. Playing it safe, not spending too much coin in case the music was not well received. But now that people are recognizing her legendary status and here for new music from her she can gone head and kick his ass to the curb and get with some more talented producers on her next mess. I didn't mean to go off you like that Annie. I'm a peaceful hippie lol .. I just don't like any negativity towards Brandy. Enjoy the past albums tho while you listening to them. They are masterpieces

I love Brandy and her vocals, it's 100% directed towards 🏕 You are right tho that I should not expect her to go back to those producers. It is probably Camper from here on out. Everyone will just have to deal I guess?!

and now shes unsatisfied still chasing after a deluxe

someone is playing the living fuck out of her and using her inexperience on this side of things to their advantage
campers work with jessie was very nice  i was willing to give him a chance but he gives drug dealer basement in comparison to brandy

and she isnt confident in this body of work (regardless of what she says in interviews)
first your redoing songs 10 and 15 times
calling yourself a perfectionista
and its getting worse and shittier with each re record

I think YXSH did the bulk and Camper added some after the fact. But I think it lists him as co producer so technically he still did have a hand in it. My bad.
