Honestly this 4.5 million plus streams on Spotify is impressive. The song is long and lacking in traditional structure and melody that most people look for nowadays. I would have expected something more traditional like Say Something or No Tomorrow to be the most streamed, so good for her. Still rising too! She clearly still has pull, even after all these years. Borderline is a 5 minute song (streaming) and it's about mental health and has no rapper on it (Billboard RNB/Hip Hop chart), so it doing this well on Spotify and the Billboard RNB/Hip Hop chart is huge.

And see this was the question I had but I didn't wanna kill the vibe so I just let it be.  I coulda sworn I just saw someone say it was gold off of spotify alone, so how could borderline be.......nvm. love BL and hope it continues to grow

A song would need 75M AMERICAN streams to go gold. Love Again has 50M WORLDWIDE streams on Spotify. American streams would be even less.
