The congratulations are for Kamala.and thats yall problemit aint about being happy for joe. its about being happy for US. having a president thats gon appoint ppl that have experience, deal wit climate change, ease racial tensions. these things DO indeed effect our everyday life. having somebody in office that you wanna be homies with (i.e. obama) is an added bonus but not what is necessary for the job. we got spoiled but we need to focus on what matters.

Some things weren't effecting me personally, but when I vote I always vote on how it will impact my demographic and the majority of the population overall. I voted for Warren in the primary, but this was not a regular election where we have 2 sane candidates just imagine if he won a second term with control of the senate and a 6/3 majority on the Supreme Court. With that amount of partisan control most of us on this board would feel some type of impact of legislation pertaining to our race, sex, sexual orientation, etc. Also with no nation wide plan for the Corona virus it would've touched us all eventually with losing a loved one. I try to look at the big picture when it comes to national contests, even though local elections will have the most immediate impact.
