Brandy deserved to be nominated. The only thing I'll say is hopefully it gives her a push to actually perform her songs next time around. Chloe x Halle performed non-stop this year and the consistency has really benefitted them.

But I do think the perspective of the era would have seemed different if "Borderline" and "Rather Be" were rolled out.

I never rly saw B7 being nominated but I did see the possibility of Borderline. At the same time, its not a song that is easily digestible either. It even took me a while to get it. Maybe next time though. Hopefully this encourages Brandy to work with other producers besides Camper.
