I don't think it's coming from a place of entitlement. I think many artists just want clarity on the evaluation and review process. There are many artists who can't sing at all who have hundreds of awards and then there singers like Lalah Hathaway and Rachelle Ferrell who can arguably sing better than Whitney and Mariah but can barely get an invitation to an award show.

People are so deluded.  U aren't OWED awards.

Questioning why u don't have an award for ANY reason is entitlement. Ur basically saying ur music deserves to be recognized and why HASNT it been? An award is not an obligatory thing.  Firstly, anyone with any common Damn sense knows that awards are VERY political and not always given on the fairest of grounds. Secondly, just because someone is a good singer doesn't entitle them to an award
3rdly, that kinda stuff is relative. keyshia Cole not having an award isn't some huge injustice, especially considering who she would be nominated against during the time she was thriving.  Cry me a fckn river. Like PLEASE
