It's all about being reasonable IMO

reasonable enough to understand that being in a building there's only so much peace ur gonna get

And reasonable enough to realize that your stereo can only go but so loud until it begins to affect ur neighbors .

part of being an adult IMO. Be reasonable on all fronts. Luckily I've had no problems with anyone ... my neighbors seem to be very reasonable. but I'll dial up my HOA in a minute if I ever do.
