Significant Discovery: First known Black American family of Kalmyk descent

Takeaways: Be prepared to pivot, even when you think you're on the right track. Be OK with being wrong so you can get things right.

Kalmyks are tribal Mongolic people who settled in Russia. It's estimated that only 300,000 Kalmyk descendants exist worldwide - with only 3,000 in America.

I hate berry scents for my home eek. Anything flowery, fruity, etc ick. I love wax melts and candles and they have to have like..... woodsy, spicy, tobacco, rain, sandalwood, cinnamon.... "homey" type scents.

I love citric scents like lemon, orange, tangerine smells. Apple-scented wax melts and candles, too.

is potpourri an outdated tea?

Lavender is the best thing I've ever smelled in my life and lemon grass. I make my own spray bottles.,

Bath and Body Works candles mostly.

I'm loving the Frosted Coconut Snowball scent atm.

I think so. I never knew them to be that effective or long lasting. I once bought some and ended up leaving it in the bowl as decoration because there were some interesting shapes in it

The best candle I ever bought, I found at HomeGoods and it's called Storm by "Scentsationals"

Storm Scent - Luxurious artisan fragrance and natural soy wax. A refreshing tropical storm containing tangerine, blackberry, and guava finished with sugar cane & a grassy breeze.

Ive had it for months and refuse to burn all the way through it.
