@JZA  Wanya admitted in this video Brandy was his girlfriend when she went on prom with Kobe Bryant. that was in May 1996 that means that Brandy had just turned 17 years old three months prior.  And Wanye was about to turn 23 years old in July  of 1996.

So that means that Wanya had to be dating Brandy at least since she was 16. They are 6 years apart.
