Jaz did everything right. The timing, the music, the performances. Not to mention the hype from other artists and folks like Charlemagne. Let's be honest: the music on Heaux Tales fits into today's musical landscape (vulgar, raunchy and profane). Those songs started conversations and memes all over social media which made people want to listen.
Brandy is a legacy act at this point, and that's how the B7 era was handled to me. I haven't seen her this visible in years. The music wasn't radio friendly like Jaz's, but the GP has finally accepted her for the LEGEND she is. I'm happy with that.
