I actually really like the younger direction they're taking with Emma Stone... The focus of the movie seems to be her insanity. It brings a very modern, edgy, and dark thriller twist to Cruella. It seems like her unhinging may also be wrapped in alcoholism, which will be very interesting to see.

Maybe they should've gotten a different actress because of the Harley Quinn comparisons.... But I actually like her from this trailer and definitely like this younger direction they're going for.
