Yea they do but that's not what I would say church SMELLED like. The fact that food is the smell that comes to her is very telling. I would actually say the interviewer was on point. I went to catholic church when I went to catholic school and there is something BOOK smelling about it.

Well HER Baptist church smelled like food because they had a kitchen and they cooked ....

So did my Apostolic Church back in the day. Those big ass ladies in long skirts stayed frying up some shit back there.

Yea my church cooked after each service. Food lingers, so you could smell it, even if they were done cooking. I use to smell popcorn a lot too!
