Not when they conflict with each other, there are a few main principles that are similar, but you can't take mix and match
Muslims believe humans are born pure, Christians believe we're born in sin
Christians pray to the trinity, whilst Muslims consider this a sin and they only pray to Allah, we have statues and iconography depicting Jesus, it's a sin to depict Prophet Mohammed in anyway
I'm lucky my dad was quite opened minded and liberal, he taught us the basics and left it up to us to make up our minds, but we've also been baptised and had our holy confirmation etc

Aren't god and allah the same

Except for one had 12 men following him around everywhere :ohwow: and the other likes to play with planes
Project started: 2014 Wrapped up: 2024

Significant Discovery: First known Black American family of Kalmyk descent

Takeaways: Be prepared to pivot, even when you think you're on the right track. Be OK with being wrong so you can get things right.

Kalmyks are tribal Mongolic people who settled in Russia. It's estimated that only 300,000 Kalmyk descendants exist worldwide - with only 3,000 in America.

i totally get that, but... ok hear me out

i don't believe everything MAN wrote in the bible was actually the way God felt, i think some of it was just what MAN felt. i think the same goes for other religions as well

i think a spiritual understaning/connection is MUCH more important than some old ass, outdated book with orogins that NONE if us really know. Nor do we know how accurate it is to what God said/felt/etc.

so i feel like if you put your spiritual connection over the "rules" of the religion (again, that NONE of us know the true origin) and interpret for yoursekf as we all have the right to do, it then becomes a lot easier for different religions to play together. because honestly almost all religions have the same base concept.

Oh I get what you mean, it's having a more worldly spiritual outlook than labelling yourself

oph.

yea i guees thats kinda it.

but idk i just feel like, ppl have the right to interpret religion in different and new ways. you don't HAVE to adhere to x, y, z to be a christian/muslim/etc. i just feel like if you are connected spiritually with the higher power of that religion, you have the right to interpret and practice that religion however you feel comfortable (even if that means mixing with another religion) and still label yourself. because literally no one on this earth can tell you you're not or you're doing it wrong.

Muslims believe in Jesus, Mary, the Bible (before it was completely remodeled by Peter) and they pray to the same God. There is only one God they just call him Allah.
