I hadn't heard the remix and its so much better than the original....thank you for this. But yes, as I stated before, Mariah is not a SOUL singer. WHITNEY. JAZMINE, ARETHA....SOUL singers. I didn't say that she doesn't have soul in her music or sound from time to time but there is a difference. Same thing for Beyonce.

Being a SOUL singer doesnt necessarily make u a better singer though.

You have to look at my original comment, I never said being a SOUL singer makes you better....I just used it to compare Whit vs Mariah.

I love both QUEENS but I prefer Whitney's voice. She has a richer tone if that makes sense.
