Love the freedom of expression. My only issue is the BLACK gay community is still fighting among the black community for acceptance. These types of performances don't help because it fuels this idea that all black gay men are pussies. Black gay men deal with exceptionally higher levels of bullying from other black men vs in the white community.
we have Lil nas doing this
just had porter with his flamboyance and HIV talk
like there's nothing wrong with the freedom to express. I'm just concerned that it's making it harder for black gay men to be accepted in the black community as more than hyper flamboyant HIV filled faggots.
I want to see more diverse expressions of homosexuality. Period. It can't always be THIS!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He went from closeted to just ... flaming
It reinforces so many negative stereotypes. Not all gays wanna be fckn Madonna or Gaga like damn. Then ppl wanna get mad if you don't identify with it "oh well you stick your dick in men don't you?! You're self hating!"
It's about proper representation, the same communities (trans and fags) that fight so hard cause they want somebody to understand them totally overlook a certain certain of homosexual ppl because they don't wear rainbows and do splits. It's so backwards.
Somewhere there's a masculine gay boy that's frightened as hell because he thinks being gay is automatically turning into a fruit up. It's really messed up how trans and gays dominate the conversation and use anything to legitimize their oppression lol
The question remains, would he have become this flamboyant if he hadn't have gotten famous! So all the "oh he's so brave mess" .. no ma'am "oh he's so RICH" is more like it, he feels he can do whatever now 😂
