That's how I feel about Wendy this season. I like her here. She is more laid-back and not trying so hard. But she doesn't have much of a storyline, though. I was holding out for the in-laws to add some fireworks at the party, but nothing. She looks gorgeous, tho.
You can tell Gizelle and Ashley had a sit down with TPTB cause both are being more team players, but in a way, they're underperforming. Ashley is not herself this year.
Giz has no personal story, and a few moments she was trying to play producer, it felt false cause she doesn't have a real connection with the woman. Karen has spent more time with the ladies, but in group scenes, she pulls back when Gizelle is there.
It's a weird season for me. I don't buy this group as friends. Do they even like either other? I caught Wendy giving Stacey the side eye in the last episode. LOL
