Newborns aren't supposed to have anything but milk, their stomachs aren't adapted for it yet and all the nutrients they need comes from milk or formula, their tummies are so small if you feed them with anything else your essentially depriving them with the nutrients they need from it
And your setting them up with gastric issues later on in life because their digestive systems aren't like ours yet, they can't handle anything else
That's why they progress from milk to soft foods, to soups, cereals etc
Especially honey, it contains a bacteria that's ok for adults because were used to it but their stomach aren't, it could actually kill them
