i wrote a song about realizing my man was my soulmate
but yeah I dunno if you can have multiple soulmates in one lifetime. Maybe in other lives.
But I realized my man as my soulmate when I realized he completed me and he with me.
For so long and so many years you spend time trying to learn yourself, love yourself, find things about yourself; really KNOW yourself. Thats when you figure out the things you want, the things you need, the things you think you need etc.
Well I thought I knew what I wanted and what I needed.
So I went out looking for it.
Never really found it and became unhappy for some time.
Wasnt really loving myself the way I should or thinking of myself and what I deserve in the ways that I should.
But then my King came. Outta nowhere. SO unexpected. And I didnt know how amazing of a ride i was in for for QUITE some time. I just thought it was another relationship.
But then overtime I slowly realized I as becoming a better person.
Suddenly less angry about little things.
More positive expectations.
Nicer things to say to people.
More compassion in my heart.
The love I had for this man on the inside was become something outwardly as well.
I just became a better person.
And I realized I found my soulmate.
The other HALF of me.
The one who makes me better. More effective.
Completes me. The yin to my yang.
We are such opposites sometimes its scary.
Hes shy Im not.
Hes on time to places Im always late.
The list goes on.
Opposites really do attract by the law of nature.
Let God and the Universe do what it needs to do.
Dont rely on SELF to give you the answers and direction.
It comes from GOD.
And when that time comes when you find yourself realizing you're with someone that makes you better; that completes you; That's how you know you found your soulmate.
You'll feel complete when you're with them.
All of the answers you were looking for become answered.
The search for finding yourself stops.
The feeling of needing to be loved or find love stops.

and our definition of love gets kinda twisted up and redefined in certain ways.

my friend.. i havent done anythng with him and just realized i was attracted to him a few months back...
physically my dude.
emotionally my friend..my dude has a million walls built in front of him and cant quite dip into his feelings or emotions its such a struggle
spiritually with my friend..

I love being I love. But the reality is there is no such thing as a 1 soul mate that you were meant to or destined to be with. It's sounds so planned and limited. Now I'm not saying you can't be happy with just one other person (I currently am). Love doesn't begin or end with only 1.But if a person ever felt they'd be happier with someone else I say break it down to your current lover and let them know before moving on.
Odd I feel this way considering I love Romance/tearjerker movies & the thought of fairytale love :dead: but it's true.

Sometimes we are prepared enough in life and the soulmate is always there as a constant reminder of what you truly want subconsciously. however they for whatever reason arent with you because certain things may not yet be in order with your or their life. Some people go to the grave never knowing their soul mate was actually the best friend they had for many years because they never confessed their love for that person. They weren't sure enough in that love they had for that person. and because they didnt reach for the love they really wanted they missed out.

I think it's more of a spiritual, powerful feeling you get while with someone. How connected you feel with them or if there is a strong sense of familiarity and comfortability.

Loving someone and being IN love are two separate things. Don't deprive yourself of something so special just because you dont wanna hurt this man that you care for. If you really love him, then you need to let him go find someone that feels the way you feel about your friend. Its not fair to you or
him to just stick with what's comfortable or the norm for appearances or to save face
go with how you feel and what ur heart and mind is telling you to do. He'll be hurt but he'll appreciate you a LOT more in the future for being honest, allowing him to find his true love, instead of cheating on him or betraying his trust. You haven't done anything wrong yet, but you would be if you ignored this feeling.
