I feel like if Aaliyah sang that song in her adult years...
instead of...
"it goes on and on and on... you give me a feeling good feeling, all DAY long"
it would have been
"all NIGHT long"
lol
it just came on via iTunes shuffle and it's fucking slaying me.
:uhh:
:dead:
Plus, do y'all think Aaliyah would be remembered (and be present in the minds) by the new generation of let's say, 2051?
Her legacy still lives, yes. But i wonder how it will fare later on, given the lack of exposure her family gives her legacy.

Love this song and album
For her music to not be available digitally, I stay her legacy is fucking strong. If the family ever eases up and puts the music on iTunes, Spotify, etc........*sigh*

that's the person i was thinking of, when asking about her legacy
will we know Li, like how everyone knows Monroe, all these decades later
or will she be like Tammi Terrell?
They really need to put her music on itunes. Like I can only find that damn 'Age Ain't Nothing But A Number" album and that's the only Aaliyah album I'm not really CRAZY about. It's okay, but it'S OIAM and Aaliyah were EVERYTHING.
