This wasn't my stance on the heritage thing. I just thought it was annoying, overkill, and was oversaturation. It was literally leaking into every thread u came in. Malcolm didn't do me any favors because I didn't feel that you looking into your heritage and so forth was annoying. People should be proud of you for doing something that is worthwhile to you as a human being and as a person. I guess I see it differently because I'm older and can see the importance of why you're doing this. It should inspire others to do it as well. Self-discovery is a good thing.

And you begin to evaluate yourself more, question more things about you. You become a lot more critical in your thinking. Everything doesn't seem so "simple".

seeing this just makes me happy I didn't go in depth when I went on my ancestry trip cause I was really excited and wanted to tell everyone about it too, but I was afraid people would misconstrue it as me trying to give "Mixed!" so I didn't talk about it as much as I wanted, but this whole ordeal is making me see I made the right decision.

The sig is fine. Actually, the whole ancestry research thing is fine. It's just that it doesn't fit into every discussion, which seemed to be happening. That was the only issue I ever had. So I'm glad that you understand that now. Maybe there should be an official thread for it up top like the picture and TV show threads.
