yea, no wonder they get paid to give them

who made this? Cause
Frank Ocean, Anderson Paak and Maxwell are perched in high 80s :uhh:
I didnt know only 7 critics reviewed Ush' mess :damselindistress:
Does "ishadeyourfav" work for billboard or something
Billboard doesn't gather the reviews for albums
Yessss Hard 2 Love & Pablo!
Rollingstone? Pitchfork?
Didn't know Mariah hasn't had a number one since Bush was in office
:ttlo:
It's metacritic
So this is some made up mess thats inaccurate? Glad we got that cleared up
Kanye, Kendrick & Chance all had 20-35 reviewers.
Only 7 critics even bothered to review Usher's mess. Of course his score is high. LOL.

It was the important reviewers though
but clearly it's harder to get a good score with less reviews because one bad one can knock the score back down easily

Ray, that's the point!
Meaning, if his 8th review is awful, the score could really be affected. Hence, why it's more impressive to have a high score with over 20 reviews. Not 7.

no you have it backwards, how did you skip from 8 to 20?
If the 8th review is bad then you can still have 12 more good ones to cover it up with 20
if you have 7 then one bad review has a bigger impact
Ray's right about the math, but 7 reviews still ain't impressive
Who cares about the number of reviews? There's not even that many really reputable sources most of the 20+ reviews is fluff
7 reviews from ppl like Rolling Stone, Entertainment Weekly, Pitchfork etc>>>
Yeah 7 ain't enough

But that's why it matters. Based on the Metacritic scorecard, Pitchfork gave the album a 66%. Entertainment Weekly gave it a 67%.
These "fluff" critics (which they're not) you're talking about.... if they were all included and say he had 5-8 more 60% reviews, his score would be much lower. Which is why you can't compare it to albums with 30 reviews.
It's like showing someone a report card that's 4.0, but you only had 3 classes versus someone with a 3.8 who took 15 classes.

I'm not really ASSUMING anything. You're being defensive, and I'm providing logic and simple mathematics. I'm just saying that it isn't fair to include it with albums that faced more of the judging panel. That's like if one team had to win 1 game in the NBA Finals to win the Championship, but the other team had to win the best of 7.
But nevermind. You win. Congrats on the 78% out of 100.

The Super Bowl IS one game and much more prestigious and higher profile than the NBA Finals and their best of 7

exactly, which is why it says a lot that Ush came through with positive numbers with only 7 reviews,
its normal for an album with 20+ reviews to get a positive overall avg
