Where are AA's from?
imma assume ur joking
If they're not "from fucking Egypt" then they have to be from somewhere. So where? :ATLcameo: :letsmessfag:
Are you saying all AA's descended from slaves who were captured during the Trans-Atlantic Slave trade? Imma assume you're not saying ALL.
Speak for yourself sis

So would a person whose line didn't descend from slaves, but perhaps has an Egyptian relative down their family line, who was born in the U.S. not be considered an African American?
I'm not arguing about the slave trade. I'm just asking a question because your post seems to be filled with generalizations, even the title.
Do you consider yourself African American? Or Hatian, Creole, etc?
I'm from Persia.

d
He's talking about Hoteps that like to retcon African American history to Egypt not individual people with random bloodlines
By which definitions are you defining African American?
Black Americans who descend from African slaves brought to the US.
Non Americans Blacks usually go by their country-American.
I think people feel a kinship with the Nubian Egyptians who ruled there for centuries, regardless if they're related or not.

I agree
The fact that black people had a massive, powerful and widely influential kingdom resonates with them, it parallels against the images we often see of ancient and modern Africans peddled around today.
Plus their empire is more documented and publicized than the West African Empires and Kingdoms like the Ghana Empire, the Yourba kingdoms, the Mali, Songhai, Benin, Oyo Kingdoms and the Sahelian kingdoms ect are all or more or less equally powerful and plentiful kingdoms and empires, but because of colonization and slavery have been wiped out so people wouldn't really know about them.

brocka, r u being serious? I have a feeling ur playing stupid.
If you identify as African American, it's to be assumed that at least a good portion your ancestors arrived here in a slave ship. That's just common sense , brocka.
Only ignorant hotep's walk around thinking we're from Egypt.
If you are AA and you take a DNA test, the first African result will be a West African country. It is NEVER North Africa. Ever. And if it's there, it's there as a TRACE. NEVER as one of our significant pieces of ancestry. :plzstop:
NOW there are exceptions where someone may have UNIQUE ancestry and people who entered their family trees from Egypt possibly. But GENERALLY African Americans are NOT of North African descent. :plzstop:
