If you are AA and you take a DNA test, the first African result will be a West African country. It is NEVER North Africa. Ever. And if it's there, it's there as a TRACE. NEVER as one of our significant pieces of ancestry.

NOW there are exceptions where someone may have UNIQUE ancestry and people who entered their family trees from Egypt possibly. But GENERALLY African Americans are NOT of North African descent.
