Alright Tamera
B
This show is late
What's the prob?
But she's kinda right. These reality shows live off drama and fights between women.
dhhf
Why didn't they say this when Jos was on the show?
I think it's a total contradiction to talk down about the women of reality tv but then have Joseline guest host repeatedly among other reality stars that have been on this show. They kill me with this high horse bs, like they are the morality police.

Tamar likes to act like she's better than these other reality girls because she's doing a show with her sisters. Bitch, with the way u treat them, they might as well be strangers. I get what your saying but the perception of black people in media has had a dark cloud over it long before reality tv was a thing. If people can't distinguish that it is based on the individual and not one defining an entire race, then they will never get it.

Right, but let's take reality tv out of the equation...you still have social media, regular news outlets, other popular programming like Empire. Sure, reality tv does not help...but it's not the root of the problem in how black people are stereotyped and that is where change needs to begin.
Quote from: herb. on May 10, 2017, 01:38:23 PM
They have valid points.
I don't see how so many people can genuinely get outraged and embarrassed about how they see a Black person conducting themselves in front of white people in real life, but then turn on Love & Hip Hop or RHOA when they get home and kii cackle.
I laugh at Phaedra for kicks and giggles but a small part of me feels bad that a Black woman who actually had a name for herself as a respected business woman now is seen as some convict's wife who's a liar...and in the process, dragged Kandi down to be seen as an unfair employer and rapist, etc.
All while Bravo laughs their way to the bank. But, you won't find me getting "outraged" over little stuff. If I can't get "outraged" about the mess on RHOA then I have no right to be "outraged" over other foolishness that hits the net. Including that interview where that white bitch purposely inserted political questions to trip up my Black queen and cause even more divisiveness among us.

so, again I say. When will VH1?
Actually The Duggars got a spinoff show on TLC with the sisters and their siblings. The parents are on it often. Not to mention TLC just had a marathon of the Honey Boo Boo episodes they cut short.
The spin-off doesn't feature the brother who did the molesting.
he's no longer affiliated with the network

So it's okay for white folks to be "light hearted trash", but if Tommie or Jessica Dime act a little hood it's the end of the world. TRASH is TRASH.
Right! Ur picking and choosing what's trash. Ive seen those people and they are absolute TRASH. This is the same family where the momma was dating a man that molested her damn daughter. But fighting on L&HH is THE WORST!
Not too mention the Duggars. Dude molested his sisters, cheated on his wife and they are still on tv.
Actually they aren't.
TLC pulled that show right along with Honey Boo Boo...
so, again I say. When will VH1?

Mel sho' do be eating that fucking foot
I don't even see what the issue is with 19 kids & counting.
I wouldn't call it "trash TV"
it was literally a family show.
I guess nowadays if you ain't fighting on TV, then its trash, but I guess...

I've come to the realization that anything I say is wrong in yalls eyes

and it's been that way for quite some time
and that's fine.
I'm gonna always stay true to myself and if that's an issue for you gorls, then so be it.
I don't need a crowd of people to co-sign like a lot of you do.
I do and say me regardless and it's always gonna be that way.
No it's the fact that someone will challenge your opinion and you start contradicting yourself. And then u wanna get all mad or throw a fit about it

I haven't contradicted anything I said in here
I think I've been pretty consistent
and me being wrong usually is in your eyes, which is your opinion
that's your truth.

Mel, the eldest brother molested his two sisters. The entire family knew about it and kept it secret. Now whether the motive was to stay on tv or further his political career, I don't know that is up for speculation. But the point is they are still on television. Now THAT is trash, no it's sick is what it is.

No, what the brother did was trash.
should the whole family suffer for what he did?
I'm sorry they didn't tell you personally they were molested
do you think that's something they'd want people to even know?
"oh hey, we're the duggers and by the way..the eldest brother molested his sisters" like...
think of the victims, do you think they wanted the world to know they were molested?
the brother was dealt with and removed from the show and network. Not sure what more you wanted.

L&HH doesn't even represent hip hop to me. It's the inner city hip hop community, which very much is likely to be like that.

you're delusional, but whatever...I don't care to keep talking about this. I've spent entirely too much time on it as it is.
