I didn't hear it. But my friend came in telling the story. And he never really felt comfortable the entire time after that. We called the owner, and he told us not to worry about nosey white people and to feel at ease. And the guy was white himself. So, that made me feel good about it.
I was just concerned she was going to call him saying some bullshit like we were doing something wrong. And I've seen too many stories about white owners not liking black guests.
