it's kind of a big deal here in Co. She was fired for allegedly helping her brother keep his job. She already lost her law license, she can no longer work as a judge or a lawyer and her reputation is ruined. Giving her jail time for this was over kill. It would've still happened if she was white and got caught.
Its way harder for judges. There's no suspension, warnings or any of that mess. Once you violate the code you are done.
If she was a lawyer she could've gotten a suspension or a stern written warning or something.
