the animation/ cgi looks LAZY and like no effort was even put in. It looks they airbrushed human faces onto cat bodies.
This is the equivalent to trying to cram for a final and at 2am saying... "fuck it, I'm going to bed." And failing in peace.

I notice that with the new Lion King. The movie was boring and I wanted my money back. They reviewed that movie like it was just great knowing it wasn't.

It was bad. Like not even enjoyable outside of the songs bad. Jen vocally did something. But the lazy CGI was a distraction. A major distraction. This could've been monumental without CGI cats. The cast of the musical's prosthetics were compelling enough then, they couldn't have found a bomb ass makeup team in this advanced stage of the game to extend on the prosthetics from the stage? That would've spooked the girls and given them a true take of the emotional journey the musical leads you through. This was a rushed mess with a couple CUTE moments that don't happen enough to escape the whole thing from being terrible

Omg yesss. Whoever was appointed to make sure the pacing of the movie flowed failed. It almost felt like they were doing the songs out of order with their approach
