it does not have to just be questions about music
:ohwow:
Brandy's in a very candid and open space right now for those that haven't necessarily kept up with her interviews.
However, this thread and interview are a lot different. It's not just about the album or music. What are some things you've always wanted to ask and know?
And i mean ANYTHING. Just don't be super rude or nasty, please.

Have you ever thought of doing an Enya collab
What up and coming producers would you love to work with
How do you feel about some artists being inspired by your vocal style/approach
Is there anything (movies, tv, music, endorsements) she turned down but wish she'd didn't?

yeeees Enya
I wonder if Enya still makes music. Lemme google
1. Looking back:
Do you feel like you could have released more albums?
or in retrospect , do you feel like the breaks were needed?
2. Now that you are free and Independent, Do you have plans to ever release some of your unreleased Music to streaming services ? Songs like "List" , "Porcelain Doll" , & "Silent Night" Are among some of your best songs ever! The Starz would love a Brandy collection of songs "From the Vault"!
Are there any unreleased songs you wish you could've released or included on your albums?

:ohwow:.
I just edited the OP to be more clear
What would you ask? If there's nothing you care to know, then obviously this thread isn't for you
Do you know music fans don't care about cohesive albums anymore and people love the neptunes?
Do you know there are articles online talking about the neptunes collaboration and how excited it would be to hear it?
Do you know Pharrell is pissed because another -newcomer- producer made the executive decision to erase his work? Basically dissing a veteran.
Do you know what you have here? Do you know
:butwait!:
oh and would you ever do broadway? Lol

I feel like there's even more to it. I'd love to really know what prompted that change even though it seems to be more of a balance during this promo run

I tried / focus / should I go and what her thoughts are on that body of work period
Has she kept in touch with anyone from the cast of I still know what you did last summer
What's her favorite music video
Do you ever read posts on bsource
I really want to know what ACTUALLY happened with the DC show. And nothing about "timing."
All of her albums except the last two have been Grammy nominated. I wonder if she ever felt snubbed, if so when
If she's actually bipolar, I wonder if that disorder has every stopped any professional opportunities.
What does she love the most about her fans?
- Her weight fluctuation
- What was really going on during the clapback era?
- What's a single you would pick from each album that wasn't released?
- The music industry nowadays is fast paced. What are your thoughts about mixtapes between albums?

Do you feel like you could have released more albums?

3. Does she still play video games, like World of Warcraft ?
A lot of these questions are autobiography type of content, not interview. Brandy is not going to be that transparent in an interview situation. So hopefully she'll write a book one day and give us the truth.
And some of the questions aren't any of our business anyway

Will you consider releasing EPs after B7? Like a mixtape of songs.
We don't necessarily need an album roll-out every time.
I feel like that's why we have to wait so long for new music.

I think that's the biggest thing right now - regarding Brandy.
We just want more MUSIC... like Chris Brown style.
In a form of EPs. We don't need all the bells and whistles.
Word of mouth will take hold -- the more music is released, IMO.
Can everyone stop talking about her weight? She discussed this several times and it is none of our business. Especially with ' her anorexic mindstate' she used to have, just disrespectful at this point to keep focusing on it.
Does she know what are the STAN/FAN favorites from her albums? The album cuts. Does she know?! Can she guess a couple from each album?

I feel like she always talks about a million people she wants to work with. A million ideas. But in the end I just want to hear the music..she should stop making promises..because we all know most ideas will not come to fruition. Yeah it would be cool to do Moesha, a book, a talk show, a xmas album, a country album, a RayJ album..but she needs to focus, kill your darlings. This took a whole decade. It is cool she takes her time to live her life but let's be realistic.

Why has she never done a would tour?
What happened with her and Kelly?
does she feel that the music from B7 is challenging to sing live? Same for her music in general

We are so many artists face highs and lows in the music financially for several different reasons. Is she ever truly satisfied with herself as a person? As someone noted a while back, she seems to be on a constant journey of self-discovery, finding or redefining who "Brandy" is as a person. In some regards, this can be taken as a good thing, as she's not stuck in a stagnant state of existing. In other ways, it could possibly be seen as a bunch of inauthentic, incoherent babbling. What are the core essentials of Brandy that are consistent over time?
Does she still use those expensive Crème de la Mer products?
What are her favorite bridges from any song she's recorded, and can she incorporated more of them into her live shows? I could've made that into another question, as far as the format for her shows, I wonder...what does she think about when it comes to her shows like the song selections, the parts to sing, the wardrobe choices? Etc...
- We used to see you hanging out with Serena and Kelly. Are you all still friends, and if not, what happened?
- So many fans flew in your Kennedy Center performance in D.C. (some even internationally) and were let down majorly that both nights were canceled at the last minute. What REALLY happened and why was this event canceled. Will you make this event up to your fans with a redo?
- As much are you are adored and known for your background vocals, some would argue that your lead vocals, while equally strong, are often underappreciated. With Two Eleven, there seemed to be a thoughtful approach in balancing strong leads with well-placed background vocals. Will you ever consider more "stripped-down" music, vocally?
- Why were you clapping back at Monica and her fans?
- Now that you're independent, can fans expect you to release music more frequently?
- Seeing how artists create music is a powerful tool for furthering the connection between the artist, the music, and their fans, so it's unfortunate to learn that a "making of" documenting the recording process of B7 is not happening. Would you consider releasing it as a follow-up?
- You're an accomplished and talented actress. I know that you love television, but why limit your craft to just television? Your fans would like to see you in more major films.
- As an actress, you're primarily known for comedy, but some of your best acting moments have been more serious drama. Would you consider expanding your acting to do more drama scripted television and motion picture films?
- How did your management deal with Maverick come about?
- An artist of your caliber deserves more than just a generic screen and poor lighting. Will you consider investing more in the production of your live shows?
- In the early 2000s, LA Reid did an interview with Billboard magazine and confirmed a duet between you and Whitney. Did that duet ever happen, and if so, will we ever hear it?
- Who are five artists that you've collaborated with on songs that we've never heard before and would be surprised to hear?
I just need an answer to number 10!!!!
I saw Snoh Aalegra last fall and I was impressed by the production of her show, especially the lights! And sis was selling merch.
There is no excuse, Brandy! Touring is going to be her bread and butter for the rest of her career so she needs to invest in the production. Brandy is a great singer but her performances and showmanship needs work! Nostalgia has carried you but I need to see a good show now.

Looking back at this thread, have your questions changed with the album finally out? Ask anything and i promise you the best questions will be sent out and actually asked.
There's no trepidation now that the Album is out. I love y'all!

Is there any correlation between Borderline and I Am More as far as relationship? Did you go into something knowing there was someone else and became manipulated, believing that there would be a change....did that outcome push you to write Borderline?

I thought "Borderline" was written and recorded before "I Am More"
After this B7 album has run it's course, can we get some music with some producers and dj's from around the world? I'd love for Brandy to work on music with some big names in EDM internationally - like how Mary J did for the London Sessions album
After listening to the album, I wanna know if she felt like she was sharing too much or going too deep at any point of writing and recording this? If so, examples.
which other songs is she and her team thinking about giving the single and visual treatment?
What are her plans to release all of the other music she recorded between Two Eleven and B7.
Give us a mixtape, EP, or just straight up leak them!
Ask her how does she still look so youthful and why does she seem to age backwards.

It was but the times the songs were written or recorded doesn't mean the situation or relationship didn't occur at the same time. I'm sure all of this happened some time before she started recording the album.

1. I want to know and its really not a question but moreso pushing her to do a deluxe edition of this album. Can we get a deluxe edition? It can be in the form of an EP and just be available on Itunes and streaming but I want more music. I hate that she sits on her stuff.
2. Will we be getting a Christmas album by next year? Who does she plan to work with and will it still be infused with gospel?
3. What was the inspo behind the interludes and what she wanted to convey?
4. How many times did she rerecord these damn songs and how often does she go with the first draft vs the reworked versions

Gonna be an interesting and fun era. We're just getting started, Kings and Queens
:gorlonfire:
Who's gonna take the lead on getting her Jazzy and Fantasia on the right song :nowgorl:
In her Ebro interview, queen said there won't be a long wait :gorlonfire:
-As we all know In the past you have only done 2 videos and singles per album. Can you guarantee us at least 4 videos this time?
-DO you already know the singles you want for the album?
-You have an extensive catalog and a lot of your songs you have never sang live. When you go on tour again what songs are you planning on singing live that you HAvent done yet?
-Thank you for making sure we got B7 on vinyl. Is there any chance of us getting HUMAN and TWO ELEVEN on vinyl since those are the only 2 albums of yours that never had one?
-What happened with the Sam Smith duet? Will we ever hear it or was it the dancing with a stranger song he ended up doing with normani.
-You were supposeded to be writing a book about your life. Is that still happening?
-Are you currently working with any other artists right now as a feature or duet on their album? If so then who?
-Bye Polar as been revered as a FAN FAVORITE on the album. Can you confirm or DENY that it is about your ex fiance RYAN PRESS? follow up question cause we know it is about him ... Also he is under all your pics and in your comments STANNING out for your album. Are yall on good terms now?
At this point, I just wanna know about the next album cause another long wait aint gonna cut it. So Id want to know since she is now independent, does this mean more music being release sooner? Although B7 just came out, has she given any thought as to what her next project will be like? Does she intend on reuniting with ppl in the past she has worked with like Timbaland, Rodney Jerkins and Sean Garrett.
Aside from that, I'd prob ask 'What songs from the album do you intend on performing live when you do tour (sans Baby Mama and Borderline)?'
She's kinda answered every question I've had in recent interviews. Everything else is like requests lol
I would love for her to give us a virtual concert that includes some of the new material.
a lot of these sound like requests, or more like demands lol
I think asking about a new album is tacky and rude but I was thinking about if she would be open to more features
01. Can we expect her to release albums more frequently going forward?
02. Is B7 the start of a new artistic era and journey for her, not only furthering the progression of R&B but even going further outside of the genre for inspiration?
03. Does she plan to do any more acting? If so, what would be her dream role?

I also feel like if she says when to expect the next one, and she gives a timeline...if she doesn't hold to it, we are gonna DRAG. It's not even worth it. :dead: We should just enjoy right NOW lol

+Would she consider working with more visual directors like Melina, Nabil or reuniting with Dave Meyers for future visuals?
+ Is Rather Be the next single with all the good reception it received and fan favorite?
+ that visual would deserve a sickening choreography, as much s you love Frank Gatson, do you see yourself reuniting with Fatima Robinson or even JaQuel Knight to accomplish this as they have fresh & current visions?

- Her albums usually feature "main producer" format. How does she decide who that produxer is going to be?
- What song is she most looking forward to singing live and which one was the hardest to record, vocally or emotionally?
- Since she takes long breaks between albums would she consider releasing her unreleased materials?
- Whats he relationship with Monica like now? (sorry y'all I want clarity on this once for all)
- Does she know what song she wants to release next?
- The status of that Fantasia/Jazzy collab?
- What instrument is her favourite?
- An artist from the 90s she wished she had collaborated with back then?
I know its crazy times but will a tour of this album happen? Looks like the album is gonna do well. Not just America. Europe to.

Is it the Aries interview coming up next week?
I haven't read the thread so excuse me if I've repeated questions
1.) we love B7 but it's been 8 years , can we expect a deluxe version? Will she release songs she teased like melancholy , Black Barbie , follow your heart, hate that you love me?
2) what inspired her to actually put Bran Nu on the album? Can she tell us what the rap on i am more is about? (Lion in my pocket, singing I a group)
3) what are her top 3 songs from B7?
4.) can she give us a taste of Black Barbie?
5.) will she do some sort of virtual concert for B7 since we don't know when in person concerts will be safe again.

I know she's trying to figure out how to tackle virtual performances. You should suggest she look at the MTV VMA's nominees for their new category "Best Quarantine Performance" for ideas. Chloe x Halle have done a great job at this.
What artists were an inspiration for this album? I can personally also hear Sade (the song Mermaid came to mind while listening) & Phil Collins
What is there left to learn for the Vocal Bible? Or what did she learn during recording. (Amazing how she always comes up with new sounds, her voice is an amazing instrument)
I wonder if experiences like Broadway and acting also had an influence. (The way she used her voice , storytelling and also acting in the new music vid.)
The beats and music is described by many fans as healing. It sounds like music to meditate to..or to listen to as therapy. We know she had her own personal spiritual journey (meditation and her special pages -letters to God- she wrote - the repetition in those beautiful curves in her handwriting)...I wonder how this personal journey influenced the atmosphere on the album, her lyrics, song structures and view on music/art as therapy.
How does her family feel about this style? I can imagine people like her dad, a different generation, were maybe surprised by this new music.
Congratulate her on the Moesha win! Oh and I think it would be cool to make a fashion line inspired by the show just like Will Smith did. I mean let's get some coin. The esthetic is really fashionable again. I really don't mind if she experimented more with merchandise.
Same with vinyls..it is so amazing if they could rerelease the classics as anniversary editions.
I personally would love to hear more unreleased songs as well, b-sides or remastered versions of the old masterpieces.
Does she plan to tour if corona slows down? The European fans miss her.

I've noticed there's been a change in terminology lately. A lot of artists aren't releasing deluxe editions anymore, but expanded editions. They usually contain a lot more songs that even the deluxe versions. I hope that's something that she does.
