I'm not shocked cali GA ny are suffering the most considering all these states have very active and open gay communities and this is affecting gay men the most right now

u have to remember cities within NY , CAlofornia , cities like Atlanta ... are popular destinations ... plenty of people from anywhere can be flying in from Europe or wherever.

It's not gonna take two weeks more  for the mess to pop off in NYC vs LA when both cities are receiving droves of the infected population on a daily basis since the outbreak began.

You're gonna see reports of infections popping up at the same time.

If anything I'd be super suspicious or confused if it were heavily concentrated to one place/city in America when the source of the mess reportedly began overseas. Cuz Not everyone from Europe is traveling to LA only lol

I'd question why other cities , especially those like  NYC aren't  seeing cases as well .

They also weren't testing for it before.  Many people that got it early on said that doctors/hospitals weren't even considering monkeypox when they initially had symptoms.

and all of the states reporting higher numbers simply have very populous cities.
TX, NY, GA, CA...

and also DC is reporting higher numbers
