Brandy shouldn't gave up on this album. I would have kept pushing out singles until Atlantic went bankrupt lol.

Necessary would have been a good single as well. I love the backstory of I Tried regarding Bran recording it while sick if I remember correctly. The textures she uses on the song are amazing.

Didn't the regime change over there before this album dropped? Atlantic wasn't spending the coin or pushing her the same when that happened i think. I would have bled them dry too

Idk how accurate this is but someone on LSA dropped some info about how Atlantic was purposefully Sabotaging Brandy and she didn't really have a choice to move forward with anything. Just held hostage to her contract while they pushed other artists.

The way everyone voted Should I Go as the best song on the album.

It's some truth to that. I hear Alicia has went through it with her latest album. Because she decided not to resign her contract they haven't gave her much promotion.

Don't believe anyone on LSA.

She gave up on the album herself. Just like she did with Full Moon, Human, and the last two albums. Two singles and that's it. Brandy has no one to blame but herself.

Nah Brandy was sabotaged. This has been confirmed by ZuZu. I don't believe Brandy just gave up on any of her albums. Maybe she could've  fought a little more though.

Labels fuck over rnb artists all the time.

Mary J. Blige's The Breakthrough only got 3 American singles/videod and only 2 international singles.

Growing Pains debuted with 629,000 copies and only got 2 singles/videos...

Supposedly all the label budget was going on Keyshia Cole at the time. She was meant to be the next Mary.

Made no sense how that song never became a single.

The whole era felt CHEAP and a FOOL. Kinda glad it did end early tbh. Now Full Moon and GOD Eleven on the other hand... they genuinely had potential and HITS. We keep saying should've would've could've with this album, but I can't imagine anything else on Afrodisiac being a genuine hit. Except maybe Nodding Off (which wasn't even on the damn album). She needs her ass beat for that.
