If you found out your deceased grandfather owned a golf and country club that sold for $400+ million dollars??

Family drama and lawyers.... I just hope my Mom gets something.  :loose2when:

Damn! Over 400 million???

So to be more clear I was a bit vague... he passed away and was still part owner and when it sold they have been trying to track us down to pay us our portion of the sale... my moms older sister was shady and changed my grandparents wills as they were dying to cut my mom out of everything. So lawyers from the golf club sale want to see all the versions of the will back to the original and to make sure everything was done legally and everyone gets their just due not just the older sister. Looks like the older sister didn't do everything legally at the end of her parents lives and so there's a lot of who gets what to go through

My question wasn't in regards to wanting to own or keep it in the family. The sale is done ✅ and final, just dividing up the sale is the part in question.

Fingers crossed for my Mom. She deserves to have a good final chapter for sure.
Definitely get some legal help. It's a good thing that the lawyers from the sale want to figure things out. I think it's good to stay in contact with them and let a professional handle it (what are your options/rights/can they handle communication with the lawyers?). I would definitely try to get something because each dollar would make life easier.

That's absolutely vile of your mom's sister. I hope she doesn't get anything because of this.
