This has to be one of the dumbest things I've ever heard.

Buy an album because you like it, not because it's popular. No fan can predict a promo strategy, if everyone thought your way, no albums would be purchased until after all of the promo is done. Everybody likes to sit on the internet and play A&R, but at the end of the day, these artists are not recouping off sales and then aren't able to go on tour if they cannot get enough sponsors. And it works hand in hand, if companies don't see you selling albums they are not going to believe that you can sell tickets and merchandise and therefore are very unlikely to sponsor your tour. These artists do what they can to promo their shit without money - it's call social media posts. The music business is a BUSINESS and in business it takes money to make money. If the label is not willing to INVEST in the album, then the album, the promo and the era are dead on arrival.

You just justified what my point was.

:uhh:

You didn't have a point.

If there wasn't a point in the first place, you wouldn't have type 13 lines to prove yourself.

yummy

If you enjoy the music, whether or not it sells or is promoted shouldn't be any of your concern.

Let the people who get paid to worry about that stress over it.

Idk about you but I want to see my favs do good. I want to see them places and doing their jobs. We as fans are here to support them but I'm not about to keep paying for my child to go to school for him to keep fucking up. It's up to them to man up and find a way.

yummy

No I just don't think that it's far. Why keep support the albums when it just goes make to the label. That means that the artists didn't make any money off of it. I'm just annoyed with it and I feel like it's a waste of money. These artists need to map their craved out.
