I feel bad for these artists trying to get started after 2011
The whole MTV, VH1, BET, music video's debuting on TV, exclusive radio premieres etc magazine covers, exclusive behind the scenes era is gone
All they have now is the Internet

It was so easy for artists to get a hit if they were signed.

it was far from easy IMO

People still flopped if the public didn't use   but it does suck that they only have the Internet

but labels in general just put more effort and money into new artists then than they do today. They literally just throw these girls out there and just see what the fuck happens
