It's beyond disgusting that anyone would oppose this move to provide shelter to so many homeless. And not all homeless persons are thieves and drug users. Many are everyday people who fell on hard times. Some because they got sick and had to choose between getting treatment and keeping their homes. Just WOW. I know we play a lot on here but I honestly can't believe some of you are as disgusting as you come across.

The ppl you try to imply make up like 5% and usually go stag with family, friends or at extended stays, section 8 etc.

The people who get to these homes are the degenerates that are not seeking to improve on shit.

Stop pretending the ppl who will be running this hell hole will go through a selective process. They dont get the funding unless they fill X amount of beds. Any ole body will do to meet the quota.

I think we're missing the point that the affluent people in this community have enough wealth/disposable income to raise tens of thousands of dollars...idk about y'all, but I don't know anyone who can just drop hundreds or thousands of dollars just for a fundraiser, and still live. These people have much more freedom in choosing where to live, and could potentially own more than one property. The homeless simply don't have that kind of agency.
