I say build a building for them in some empty area. There's plenty of that in California.  Ship them there and build the mess there.

Or downtown or a poor area. Homeless shelter usually don't affect areas in downtown as much as you putting it in a fucking neighborhood

No. I didn't mean to relate them I was just using to different polar opposites of where they are usually located from what I seen.

I've been some big major cities that still thrived with homeless shelters in the downtown areas.

And also in the lower income areas.
Not saying anything is right, but right and wrong is all subjective here.

I wouldn't want a homeless shelter built near my house not because I'd want them to remain homeless but because it allows the homeless the opportunity to steal from surrounding homes. It is a huge problem, there needs to be some sort of resolution.

It's beyond disgusting that anyone would oppose this move to provide shelter to so many homeless. And not all homeless persons are thieves and drug users. Many are everyday people who fell on hard times. Some because they got sick and had to choose between getting treatment and keeping their homes. Just WOW. I know we play a lot on here but I honestly can't believe some of you are as disgusting as you come across.
