San Francisco is a small city with a lot of people crammed in. No matter where you locate the shelter people are gonna fume.

If you choose to live in a major city that's just one of the things you have to deal with. If you have a problem with that then don't live in a city.

I'm not sure if they have a problem with the homeless themselves or their property value(they mentioned it so I figured that's important to this).

I can speak for myself in saying, I have no problem staying near homeless people especially if I'm renting, as I did it when I was living in Honolulu near downtown.

But if I owned a own that I'm trying to build wealth and equity in, and your talking about introducing something that could significantly affect it's value and leave me with an upside down mortgage, then yeah it's a problem.
