#LupeFiasco has a bone to pick with the Black community. The rapper got on Instagram Live and reacted to the 104 shootings that happened in Chicago over the weekend. What are your thoughts on his feelings regarding this?

Well I can guarantee you that number would be less if all of the shooters were given their reparations

civillian vs civilian crime is always and issue

Law enforcment vs civilian crimes wont be tolerated regardless of what civilians are doing to each other

but you cannot  oprress us at every turn and and cause us to  always be in survival mode
and then when we begin to wake up use your oppression agaianst us to say hey im i started it but yall cant hold me accountable now that ive created this mess

fuck that

law encofrment needs to be checked first and foremost
then we will deal with the mental anguis of black on black mess

I fail to see how reparations would stop niggers shooting each other but dew.

well just think if it was a turf war
there would be no need to fight over turf because you already got your money no need to secure an area to make your money

if its because someone stole something

well there no need to steal anything from anyone when your bank account is right and ur needs are met

if its because someone temper flared up

well that stress and axiexty woulndt even be present enough to take it out on someone else because ur life is taken care of

if they cant get a decent job because of a conviction

well there is no need to run the streets and do illegal things for money if

so lots of things stem from us being done so wrong in this country and we just turn on ourselves as a result fighting for crumbs

I might be a pessimist but I highly doubt Chicago would change much if every person got $10,000 in their bank accounts tomorrow. Hell, I think shit would get even worse.

Reparations won't be a magic bandaid to fix everything. Short-term maybe, but without a fundamental shift in mentality, nothing will change.

yeah from drug money that perpetuates the violence and drug related mess in our communities because of money  and how profitable it is
whenever you can allow someone to stepp out of survival mode there will be a change
