#LupeFiasco has a bone to pick with the Black community. The rapper got on Instagram Live and reacted to the 104 shootings that happened in Chicago over the weekend. What are your thoughts on his feelings regarding this?

Well I can guarantee you that number would be less if all of the shooters were given their reparations

civillian vs civilian crime is always and issue

Law enforcment vs civilian crimes wont be tolerated regardless of what civilians are doing to each other

but you cannot  oprress us at every turn and and cause us to  always be in survival mode

This isn't your reality if you live in a Black middle class neighborhood. Couldn't care less what happens in those communities tbh. This is exactly why my parents fought to prevent renters and section 8 housing in our neighborhood and I will do the same in my community.

if its because someone stole something

well there no need to steal anything from anyone when your bank account is right and ur needs are met

I might be a pessimist but I highly doubt Chicago would change much if every person got $10,000 in their bank accounts tomorrow. Hell, I think shit would get even worse.

Reparations won't be a magic bandaid to fix everything. Short-term maybe, but without a fundamental shift in mentality, nothing will change.
