Let me go give Lucid Dreams another chance.

Completely agree I so hated it at first actually I hated the whole album..initially.. especially Saving All My Love the way she approach some of these songs is very unusual strange and abstract and she had said that in an interview once so you hate it at first but bitch once you get into it....it could take years.. that's why I think this might be her last album and she said that she would approach it that way because it's so difficult to understand vocally and in every other way.

It did but glad we at least got a COLORS performance of it. Should've been the 1st single out the gate after the radio success of Love Again

I grew to really love Lucid Dreams ( even the Michael Jackson Heeeeeee) and it was probably her most honest song.

them working together again is not needed. shiz is the bigger component of that trio & the one she was the closes to. brandy's genius & ear is her's alone. but shiz being her hype man/believing in her is crucial piece & she admitted such.
i wonder how the studio reacted when she started doing that haunted ghostly angel in disguise vocals when she recorded it.
i know she was gagged when she did the build up to the bridge & tone changes on wytm. she did his arrangement justice.
the backstory on unconditional oceans is needed. the vocals match the lyrics & production.

B7 is what you get with Brandy and shiz alone, very mediocre work
