They have both always mutually respected each other, but Brandy really hurt his ego after Human,....he has probably let it all go by now but I think he's low key trying to promote  the tour also

I feel like Bran was very harsh on him after "Human". When she made the comment that Rodney didn't give her his best and that's why she was upset, she shoulda let her ARTIST come out and voice this while in the studio and help steer the project. You can't record a whole album, release it and THEN complain about what was given to you. Where were you when it was being created? Why did you even complete recording if you hated it? But I hope they truly did work things out.

this is true. However throughout the years he kind of barely acknowledges her when the first 2 albums they did together are a huge part of his success

Also he has always seemed very controlling of her. He was mad that in addition to working with Rodney on Human she also worked with Toby Gad, Brian Kennedy, Bruno Mars etc
He always wants to be the only person she works with for her albums.

They have a love/hate relationship and truly I think they smashed or they were going to but she got with his cousin instead and that's what messed everything up
