The reason taylor thought about taking the plea deal was very well explained.  Im sorry but y'all be so basic sometime. What's not realistic is everything being wrapped up with a pretty bow in the end.  Books and movies end this way all the time.  The episode was VERY well written and this is exactly why the show is so critically acclaimed.

That was the whole point. In real life, rape is hard to prove. It's usually one person's word against the other. The truth is sometimes never found out.

The finale was disgusting. Not here for excuses. Such a waste of great actors and great storyline.
