I try to remain my cognizant of how I come off to people, so I try not to get too comfortable in my "I don't give a fuck, this is me" attitude.

That's always been a huge flaw of mine. I have severe social anxiety and always have the feeling that someone is judging me. Like I can walk in a room and be a nervous WRECK because I think everyone is looking at me and judging. So naturally I often crave the acceptance of others.

I hate it.....but it's something I have to work on.

Great answer. As I said in my previous post to QUEtie, I think to some degree we all care about it. We're human, we NEED acceptance. We need love, we need friendship, cannot survive with it. And that's scientifically proven.

And it is DEFINITELY important to be careful about the way you come off to others. I'm especially careful when I am @ work. Speaking with peers, superiors, etc. Being liked sometimes is the difference between keeping a job and losing it. that's real.

!!! its the key to advancement and longevity, period. The "dont give a fuck" girls aint really doin shit with their lives, more often than not. And that isn't a shot at anyone on the first page saying they dont care about what people think

Not everyone craves attention or acceptance. Not everyone is gonna like u and really it don't fckn matter if they do. I think people who really care about being liked are a bit insecure tbfh

True, not everyone is going to like you. But the ones that DO like you, you should care enough that they like you and try to maintain it.

Well let me rephrase because I see ur point. I hold the friendships I have very high in regard. I am the person I am and those who fuck with me, I fck with wholeheartedly. I'm just not going in trying to impress people or being something that I'm not in order to be friends with someone. Of course I'd LIKE to have great friendships and relationships in life but if they don't work out that way, it won't make or break me
