slavery was free labor , it was a business . Dnndndnd I think he may be referring to some ideas that were introduced DURING the era of slavery to intentionally divide that worked , which is true . Willie Lynch. But even if that's his point , he's kinda pushing this onto black people as if it's our fault that it's continuing to "work". When it's something so deeply rooted that it's gonna take MUCH more time for us to completely shake it. Which may never happen 100%, and even if it doesn't , it's STILL not our fault.
But work is being done to shake it . Us celebrating our natural beauty more , "protect"movements in order for each other , encouraging one another to support black businesses... we are TRYING. coming onto social media to wag ur finger at the girls ain't the move .
