She def leans more Asian physically.
They just didn't see a black woman looking at her . She doesn't look very mixed.
This just goes back to it being about what people SEE in America . U can say anything u want but ppl will still box u in based on what their eyes tell them.
And it doesn't help that a lot of black people are fed up with Asians infiltrating our neighborhoods with their mess.
Kinda sucks cuz this is all based of how she looks . Merle dandridge from greenleaf is half Korean and has a black role - playing a black woman with two black parents . If she walked out as owner of the store , no one would laugh or question her .
No ones asked why a mixed Korean/black woman is playing a black woman on greenleaf. Cuz she LOOKS the part .
But this is how America works
