Atlanta's first GLBT school, called "Pride School," will enroll K-12 and have GLBT teachers. It is for gay students and any students who feel ?different? from others and do not feel supported in their regular school setting. ~~ Gee, I didn't know kindergarten students had such issues. What are your thoughts, friends? Do you know any GLBT five-year-olds? Are American children being conditioned to be gay?

I agree with this. I think people are correlating gay and sex. It's not about that. I don't think the school is saying its strictly gay but a place where the bullying won't be tolerated and kids can come and not worry about the added pressure if they don't conform or fit into the "normal" roles. Kids are killing themselves and everything else over this stupid shit, wtf is wrong with providing them with a safe place to come and fckn LEARN! School is a big part of children's everyday. 8 to 9 hours a day is a long time to be bullied. I don't see the problem at all actually

I think middle school would be perfect... that tends to be the "struggle" age. With K-6, you would be missing out on critical social development stages. I dont see how this would be preparing students for the "real world". And how many of yall truly and fully understood your sexuality at the age of damn SIX?   With 6-8 (junior high), it prepares them and builds a support team for high school, but it ALSO leaves more time for social development and interaction with the real world.
