Put it Down is a slap IDC
the terrible one is Let Me Go

Hatsumomo

Now see ...I love Let Me Go ..it's that knock, the swag in the lyrics and beat switch ups for me. Put It Down sounds like a child's song like it was targeting the teenage audience ..and it makes sense cuz I remembering the kids going crazy over it. there's something very youthful about it even the video with her and Chris, they looked young af.

RAY7

She was only like 32-33 when it came out
that is still young

TogetherAgain

One of her Top 3 albums but the gorls aren't ready to admit it, tbh

Gilgamesh.

We love an album that doesn't sound like it was recorded under water.

Monk

fav track has always been so sick
the way she sings it
that tone captures perfectly the feeling of being fed up

Right, the general audience/industry loved to age Brandy as if she had already passed her peak...its crazy to think she was in her 20s when HUMAN was released and was treated like a retired washed up singer over 45
I'm bossy/I'm the first girl to scream on a track

The album slaps and is solid, edgy and current. I love her tone during this ERA and the way she used her voice. Its needed in her catalog.

Two Eleven had sooo many strong moments. Some songs pulled her out of her comfort zone in a good way (Slower, Do you know what you have); and others just pushed the envelope a little too far (Paint this house, can you hear me now, what you need).

:calmdownsis:

If those songs were gone the album would be way more cohesive and would be in the top Brandy album discussion.

Put it down

I%u2019m neutral on so sick and let me go (I loved them when the album was released though)

I loved that song when the album came out and idk why I can't get into it as much anymore. I think it's the chorus.

I thought she looked even younger than that.
