I get what you're saying. Music has to be around for a while and age, in order to tell if it's aged well enough and still packs the right punch to be considered a classic. But aged music also comes with nostalgia. So instead of just giving the props of admitting something is classic, you dodge it by minimizing it to the effect of nostalgia. I see.
