i think people just want to let the show itself outweigh the numbers, regardless of what they are

when I think of all the shows I love right now, the last thing on my mind are ratings - leave that up to the network to deal with

especially when r. kelly, monica, ciara, rihanna, or whoever just released
the debates over who flopped more?
it was just stupid.

it is the music good? is there a hit single? is that artist good?
That's what matters. Selling 30k the first week does not erase a person's talent or legacy.

I personally enjoy the rating updates.  I like to be informed how the show is being received by the public.  I do hope the ratings pick up some and consistently sit over a mil.  I'm sure Bran wouldn't want big names as a part of the cast, ya'll know Bran likes to be the reason for her own success, and I feel her.

the fact that the main star can't catch it/watch it herself is due to its timeslot

i literally have to set my night up around that time frame

but that's the thing... ratings doesn't show the whole picture of how the show is being perceived.
everyone that i know whose into the show is not even watching it on TV.
they watch it online. On their phone. during their lunch break. on their iPad, over the weekend.
