Actually she seemed on the right track the last time with the coach but her boyfriend thought it was witchcraft. And when it became a conflict she didn't want to shoot anymore. She seemed stuck and just when she had a lightbulb moment her boyfriend didn't want it anymore.

She also seemed very chaotic in her mind, like she had a difficult time focusing on her work.. She had an appointment with the mentor or a music producer and she would disappear in the kitchen to make Logan food. I don't think she even realized how unprofessional it was.

I do agree BFV probably made every problem a big disaster and having therapy on tv is a bad idea. Sometimes it's good to fix things in private...especially trauma from the past. Iyanla is not going to fix your life, she isn't a therapist. She is a tv show creator who does therapy for views and she breaks people down when they are not even ready for it.
