Brandy is amazing. That never changes. Brandy looks amazing here (she's never looked bad to me) and her confidence is where I love it to be. That said. While this show is exciting as a fan of her in general, I can't lie and say I am not a bit worried. As someone who knows how primetime network tv works, and also how fragile Brandy's ego CAN be, this shit needs to work and work well for a season or two.
And I'm not just saying that as someone who selfishly wants new music from a confident Brandy. She was confident with b7 ( to a degree), and that album is amazing, but I think let this show be a success until it's season finale, and we will have the Brandy renaissance we've been waiting 20 years for. Her confidence feeds her creativity. She loves to win and hasn't had many big wins for a while. I think when she says she would have played tennis if she wasn't a singer, she means it. I never counted her out and I can't wait 😊
