I mean... chris does a couple of genres sure. He excels at none of them tho. He makes good R&B and Pop and OK hip hop mess. Nothing to write home about 

it's why he has no classic album despite being one of the biggest R&B acts ever

Yea chris doesnt have a classic mess imo either eventho his 1st 2 albums were pretty big

He has yet to make anything soulful so he still haven't proved anything to me. Would love to hear a more mature sounding album from him one day. With live instrumentation

Chris does have a lot of good music though. I just can't get into much of it after X. It's way too much at once and becomes repetitive.
